Once again I came across this concert by chance. The Quasimodo announces concerts on facebook again and again and then the name appeared: Uli Jon Roth. The next day, I bought tickets for my wife and me.

The concert took place on the last weekend of October and for the night from Saturday to Sunday Orcan was announced, so we didn't go there with the bicycles.

In contrast to the last time we were at Quasimodo at 9:30 pm. No queue at the entrance, the Quasimodo was still very sparse, but there was still time, because the Quasimodo never starts before 10 pm (above there is a theater and when performing there, music from below can be very annoying).

No Dub FX this year in Berlin - only Cologne, Kassel or Leipzig which could be possible. I asked my sister if she would join me in Kassel but she said that the music didn’t fit for her so I decided to go to Leipzig - taking a Hotel nearby and two vacation days for this special event

So well prepared for the day I arrived Leipzig at 4pm - taking a taxi and arrived some minutes later at the Hotel. I had a nice room and enough time to relax before going out for the gig.

At 8:30pm I went to the Werk 2 only 500m away from the Hotel. I got in there and find a nice place just in front of the power amplifier.

I am very sure this was my last gig with KMFDM for a very long time. No KMFDM-classics, only 1 hour appearance, bad sound - no recognizable electronic sound.

Some weeks before I posted on Facebook that I would go to this gig and Anja - one of our best friends also joined this event.

I was a little bit too late so we met inside when KMFDM already began.

I went to the right side at the Nuke where there was some more place and some bar chairs to sit. After a short SMS with Anja about my location she was coming to my place.

Five days before this special event I ordered two tickets for my wife and me. I was very excited to see DEFUNKT again at the Quasimodo - the legendary Jazz-Club in the centre of West-Berlin - after more than 3 years.

The gig should start at 10 pm but we arrived there 15 min later - still with people waiting at the entrance.

The gig was sold out therefore it was difficult to find a good place. We got something to drink when they started short after 10:30 pm.

At the first song we didn't see much of the band so we tried to find a better place which was found near the sound amplifier - three steps more upper - so a good place to stay and to take some pictures and videos.
