Before the show:
Since I have known the tourdates for Europe it was clear the only gigs I could maybe go would be the both in Belgium - Cactus Festival in Brugge and Rock Festival in Zottegem.
I hoped it could work like it was in 2005 - see the beautiful people from Belgium I know, stay with them, party with them but since the Rotterdam festival one week before I knew that juiceman couldn't come to any festival. So my plans changed. I decided only to go to one festival and Brugge was selected because it was better reachable by train. It was very difficult to get a hotel room for this weekend but in the end it worked - railway station, hotel and festival ground all in a 15 min distance. What a good starting position. I asked Johan who also wanted to come for a ticket and he ordered it for me 3 day before the festival.
So at the festival day I started my trip to Belgium with more than 8 hours on trains. I arrived Brugge at 4 pm, checked in at the hotel and prepared me for the festival. I came to the festival ground at 5:30 pm and a lot of people were already waiting there. At the ticket counter I saw that the Cactus-Festival was sold out for Friday and Saturday - so I was very happy Johan bought my ticket before.
Johan and his wife(Name - ?) arrived there 1 hour later. They didn't forget to ask to be on the guestlist so they could use another entrance than me. It took me more than 20 min to get in but than we had a nice place, talked a lot until the first band started to play. The band was called Bunny Wailers and Band - never heard before of him - but the first minutes it sounded good so I decided to get much more better feelings.
I smoked a joint - felt good, good, super good ... good, not so good, bad - I needed something to drink - no, take a place more in the back - ok, that was good - no, now I tried to get out, felt bad with my stomach (I can still remember the same story), try to find a place where I can put it out, OUT - it came out - horrible - some more minutes without moving - new plan: get out of the festival ground - didn't work because so many people still wanted to come in, had to wait than some of the stuff people came and brought me and some others who also needed to get out to another exit - new plan: just go back to the hotel, try to relax and go back to the festival. I reached the hotel but never came back ...

Wake up at 4:30 am - absolutely too late for anything ... turn around and slept on until it was time to stay up for breakfast.
