The SunPilots @Arcanoa / Berlin

It seems a little bit like The Sunpilots got to be my secret music favorite. This was now my fifth gig with The Sunpilots in 10 month and I still got good vibrations with them.
Today - once again - they played at Arcanoa where I have seen them the first time.
When I was coming home from work at 8 pm I was totally tired and slept a little bit until 9:30 pm, got some coffee and checked at facebook when they would start to play.
I left my home short after 10 pm and arrived there 10 min later. They didn't start to play - still talking with guests and friends and I had a little talk with Raj and Justin about their last gig there and at Ex'n'Pop - the best gig of them so far. I also was welcomed by Bob and Tom.
After the Ex'n'Pop gig I thought there would be much more people - maybe 40 were there but the feelings were good. I also saw two guys from Easengard - the Band which also played at Ex'n'Pop.
I got a good place near the stage waiting for the beginning. Near me sit a girl I also knew from another Sunpilot gig and we talked a little bit. Now we are friends at fb.
Then they started to play - in my opinion a new song - before they came to 3 Minutes to midnight followed by King Of The Sugarcoated Tongues. Some people started to dance. I was making some pictures but when I looked to them at home they were to dark although I used flashlight.
They played all songs from their record King Of The Sugarcoated Tongues. In between they also played the Beatles cover All the lonely people where Justin was doin his bass solo (more of that funky stuff!!!). Bob had some more soli in the songs.
After this so kind highlight Raj introduced the next song Sex and TV with the story about the Bavarian cops who always checked their car when they crossing the border there. In my opinion this song kills a little bit the dance feelings of the audience although I like the song.
But they got them back dancin with Rain and The Piper´s Mirror. This should be the last song but the audience asked enthusiastic for more and the barkeeper gave them 10 minutes more.
They ended their show with Exodus and the Jimmy Hendrix (Bob Dylan) cover All along the watchtower.
Once again, it was a wonderful gig with The Sunpilots. I thanked them all for the great show and bought once again their last record as a present for a friend of mine and a T-shirt in XXL for me. Justin made a joke about my new order that I am there best customer :-)
I left Arcanoa at 00:30 am and listened to some more music until 4 am at home.
