A Helping Hand |
You have likely heard the tragic story of SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS fan BRYAN STOW, whose was brutally beaten and had his skull fractured by belligerent LOS ANGELES DODGER fans at their home opener recently.
MICHAEL FRANTI recently recorded a live version of his song. "Say Hey (I Love You)" during a private listener party at CUMULUS Triple A KFOG/SAN FRANCISCO in honor of STOW. FRANTI has made the song available on his website for download and is asking for a donation to help out the STOW.
PD DENNIS CONSTANTINE said, "This is so like MICHAEL to do something to give back. All of us at KFOG send our best wished out to BRYAN STOW and his family and wish him a speedy recovery."
FRANTI said on his website, "My heart goes out to BRYAN STOW and his family. As a long-time GIANT's fan, the DODGERS have always been our rival, but never our enemy. I hope that this act of senseless violence can serve as a reminder to all of us that baseball is a game of fun and passion and that this tragedy brings out the best in both of our communities."
A BRYAN STOW FAMILY FOUNDATION-A FUND has been formed to defray medical costs and travel expenses for STOW's family established by his employer (AMR (PARAMEDIC).
A support fund has been set up.
