Michael Franti stopped by 30 Minutes a few hours before his performance at the Rialto to talk about his new album All Rebel Rockers. We discussed his performance outside of the Republican National Convention with snipers trained upon him, the annual free concert in Golden Gate Park he produces called Power to the Peaceful and a recent performance at San Quentin.

Franti introduced us to Jamaican reggae vocalist Cherine Anderson, who appears on many of the tracks on All Rebel Rockers. Together, they treated us to a couple of duets.
