Ezra Collective and Sasha Keable align on new latin-fuelled roller ‘Body Language’.
The London group are nominated at this year’s BRIT Awards, a nod that follows their triumph on the Mercury Music Prize. Having closed off 2024 with a sold out OVO Arena Wembley show, Ezra is now ready for the next level.
With a slew of plans for 2025 already in place, the band have moved to release new single ‘Body Language’.
The UK may be struggling to escape winter’s icy chill but Ezra Collective are ready to bring the heat – with some help from British Colombian voice Sasha Keable.
Out now, it’s a fiery return, with the latin-infused rhythms showing another part of Ezra’s rhythmic prowess. Sasha’s vocal is superb, and the two interlock perfectly, a sign of the elasticity inherent in one another’s artform.
Ezra drummer Femi Koleoso says the single “is a tribute to the Latin American communities of London that deeply inspire us. A collaboration with a friend who has been part of the EZ family for years. The language of the body is dancing and this song is a celebration of this...”
Sasha adds: “I’m so happy to be coming full circle with the boys on this collab after touring years ago together. It feels like the timing couldn’t be better as we get ready to road test ‘Body Language’ in Latin America, my motherland. This record holds a special place in my heart on so many levels.”
