Andy Frasco & The U.N. are charging into 2025 with “Try Not to Die,” a spirited anthem that transforms life’s chaos into pure musical joy. The track showcases the band’s genre-bending sound and contagious energy along with Andy Frasco's signature wit.
“Try Not To Die” offers fans their first taste of new music Frasco and his bandmates will release this year. The band’s last full-length studio album, L’Optimist, arrived in 2023 and continued their evolution from party starters to cultural connectors.
Born during a creative retreat in Nashville with producer and co-writer Chris Gelbuda, the song delivers its wisdom with a wink: “Pay all your bills, stay off the pills, and try not to die.” Behind the playful exterior lies a deeper message about finding light in life’s darker moments.
“My goal as a musician has always been to help people break out of their echo chambers,” Frasco explains. “You can’t grow unless you hear both sides. I hope this music helps people push through depression and discover new ways of living. That’s why I write these optimistically depressing songs – I’m always searching for the silver lining.”
