Sirens of Lesbos have released their latest single ‘Call Me Back’, featuring SadBoi and Nigeria’s Kabusa Oriental Choir.
The track, which combines afrobeats-inspired instrumentals with elements of pop, R&B and orchestration, reflects the Eritrean and Sudanese heritage of sisters Jasmina and Nabyla Serag, who front the Swiss music project.
“The song is really about longing for a second chance and, at the same time, about forgiveness. It all started with a beat, which included telephone sound elements, and that sparked the inspiration for the lyrics in the hook,” Jasmina explains.
Speaking about the collaboration, Nabyla shares: “We were listening to SadBoi’s ‘Potential’ and Kabusa Oriental Choir’s ‘So So’ a lot while writing the song, and we really wanted to collaborate with both of them. We contacted them through Instagram, and they both said yes immediately”.
The duo have also recently collaborated with JID, Bootsy Collins and Erick The Architect, and will play The Great Escape in May 2025.
