Three songs from A Song For Leon are out now: the ones by Margo Price, U.S. Girls & Bootsy Collins, and Orville Peck. Margo's soulful cover of "Strangers In A Strange Land" is replete with a soaring gospel choir and meandering guitar riffs at its close. U.S. Girls and Bootsy offer up a funky, bluesy take on "Superstar" by U.S. Girls and Orville croons his way through "This Masquerade." Bootsy says, "Mr. Russell was a musician's musician. He came in through the back door and made his way to the front of the stage. His song writing had meaning & a way of touching people that were going through things in life. I admired his talent, his steadfastness & commitment to being & doing what he set out to do. He expressed himself as only he could. I am proud to be a part of this tribute to him."
