grandson has premiered a new song called "Something to Hide," a track off his upcoming album, I Love You, I'm Trying.
"This song is probably the most confessional song I've written," the "Blood//Water" rocker says. "I talk about themes of addiction, mental health and trauma fans of mine will be familiar with but through the lens of my own family and our upbringing. I was super nervous to play it for them but with their blessing I decided to put it out there in the hopes somebody else might hear their own story in it."
You can listen to "Something to Hide" now via digital outlets.
I Love You, I'm Trying, the follow-up to grandson's 2020 debut, Death of an Optimist, arrives May 5. It also includes the previously released songs "Eulogy" and "Drones."
grandson will launch a U.S. tour in support of I Love You, I'm Trying in May. K.Flay will also be on the bill for select dates.
