Avenged Sevenfold is making their very patient fans incredibly happy today (March 14.) The band has shared the release date of their new album and unveiled their new single.
Life Is But A Dream...is due out on June 2. It's A7X's first new album since the surprise release of The Stage in 2016. The lead single from the album is titled "Nobody" and is a heavy six-minute track. It's available for streaming and download here. The video for "Nobody" can be viewed below. Per the video's description on YouTube, "Nobody" was directed by Chris Hopewell, and its stop-motion animation was "a handmade labor of love, often taking 90 minutes just to capture only 2 seconds of footage."
As for the new LP, the band notes, "The new album was written and recorded over the span of four years and inspired by the writing and philosophy of Albert Camus. Our good friend and brilliant artist, Wes Lang, encapsulated our theme of existentialism through visual art for the album packaging."
Life Is But A Dream... is available for pre-save/pre-order here, with special album-themed merch is available at A7Xworld.com.
