Che Lingo has released his new single “Out of the Blue” and shared details from his second album “Are You Going Up”.

The album follows his critically acclaimed debut ‘The Worst Generation’, and sees the AIM Award-nominated Londoner addressing mental health and heartbreak at its fullest.

“CUFA is an intimate and personal look at me and people who, like me, sometimes have a hard time seeing themselves,” Che Lingo says, “CUFA is an album, in my own way, about letting people know that they are not alone. You are not alone in these temptations.”

In anticipation of his new album, Lingo released “Out of the Blue” a sobering song to help him “get out of the cycle of pressures, hereditary and personal, to let himself and so many suffer.”

Speaking about what inspired the song, Lingo spoke “Times where I felt like I was drowning, fighting about things emotionally and mentally, that I couldn’t even see and repeat that cycle… This story is about times like that and how I was singing and going through them my way. You’re not alone. Trust me.”

Director Reece Selvadora described the experience as “special” working on the video.

“We wanted to represent the fight physically, while allowing the audience to connect with the visual effects by seeing Che Lingo,” explains Selvadorai.

It follows Lingo’s previous single “My Radio”, which became a royal hit for Queen, which racked up millions of streams in two weeks.

“Coming Air” is out April 6 via Idris Elba’s 7Wallace label. Check out the track listing below.
