Little Triggers are a force to be reckoned with. Led by Tom Hamilton on lead guitar and vocals, the band has been featured by Classic Rock Magazine (where they were rewarded Track of the Week twice and and Track of the Year once), and have received radio play since 2019.
Little Triggers arose from the ashes of Tom Hamilton's teenage band, The 45s, who signed a deal with Wave/BGM that caused other band members to depart due to strain from parents and school. In being responsible and keeping the dates of a two-week French tour the band had been scheduled for, he stepped up to the front of the group and hired session players. Subsequently, they went on to share the stage with the likes of Elvis Costello, The Stranglers, The Damned, Eddie & the Hot Rods, and Mcfly and the Vamps.
On November 25th, Little Triggers released a new punk rock track, "Personality Crisis." It's like hearing the Hives and Dead Kennedys shook up in a bottle in a New York loft circa 2002, with a little Dr. Feelgood and MC5 in the background. Tom remarks, "I don't feel any connection to this sort of instant gratification online culture. The minds of these digital influencers are a closed book to me. I just don't get why so many people think they have something meaningful to say. The personality crisis of the song title is both my alienation from this virtual world and also that of the individuals who think their online musings really matter. To them and their followers, I say get a life - a real life!"
