KEBA's musical background was heavily influenced by West Indian music traditions, which include Calypso and Soca. While being raised by her mother who was a keen piano enthusiast, KEBA was also exposed to Western artists, including Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5, and The Supremes, as well as 50s music.
After moving to America, she released her debut album 'Wildfire' in 2013. In 2015, she made her stage debut as an opening act at the Tobago Jazz Experience followed by a European tour.
