Michael Franti & Spearhead Perform For '2 Meter Sessions'

Michael Franti & Spearhead made an appearance on the Dutch television show 2 Meter Sessions earlier this month. The band performed four songs at the program's Amsterdam studios on August 8.
Franti previously appeared on the show way back on November 22, 1994 with a completely different Spearhead lineup shortly after Michael formed the band and returned for a set in 1999. For the 2019 session, Michael Franti & Spearhead started their performance with three beloved classics. Up first was "Stay Human (All The Freaky People)" from 2001's Stay Human. Then, the group offered an interpretation of their 2008 hit "Say Hey (I Love You)." Franti and company went on to perform "Show Me Your Peace Sign" and "Say I Love You" from their latest album, Stay Human Vol. II to close out the session.
