Audience members on Tuesday's episode (Nov. 12) of The Talk got to witness a real feat of superheroism when pop-rocker Adam Lambert showed up to deliver a show-stopping performance.

Taking to the show's stage, after a short introduction from host Sharon Osborne, Lambert launched into "Superpower," his latest single off of Velvet: Side A.

Dressed in a brilliant blue suit with his classic leopard-print button-up underneath, Lambert strutted around the set while wailing out each inconcievable high note, bringing the audience to their feet in no time. Hosts Carrie Ann Inaba and Sheryl Underwood appeared to be particularly enamored with his high-energy performance.

The singer also stopped by the hosts' table to chat about his album and his massive touring success. Specifically, Underwood asked him what differences he noticed between touring as a solo artist and with Queen. "With Queen, it's these songs that everybody knows. The audience is full of nostalgia, we have all ages there, everyone's singing every word," he said, before offering a shoutout to Queen bandmates Brian May and Roger Taylor. "I feel like I'm of service...I get to do this thing and celebrate Freddie Mercury, I get to let the fans and these guys do their thing."

With his solo tours, he continued, everything is more personal because he's not helping out a legendary band, but performing his own work. "It's my stories, it's my music that I created, it's my baby," he said. When Underwood followed up by asking what he always needs to have in his dressing room for a tour, Lambert offered the best possible answer: "Tequila".
